It is October 1, 2026. 30 years ago today, Family Promise of Las Vegas officially began its journey of helping families find their way home. Last night, on the eve of our 30th anniversary, hundreds of people came together to celebrate what has made Family Promise possible since 1996: a community coming together around families.
Friends, families, volunteers, sponsors, churches, businesses, community partners, performers, task force members, board members, staff, and supporters filled the festival with thousands of meaningful interactions. It was a blast!
For 30 years, Family Promise has helped families with children move from housing crisis toward stability and long-term independence. But that work has never happened in isolation. It has happened because people in this community continue to show up with their time, resources, relationships, expertise, encouragement, and belief that families deserve an opportunity for a fresh start. Thank you for your support in this mission.
